The Quirky Tale of Royal YUM's Bejing Duck

A Flavorful Journey from Tradition to Innovation

At Royal YUM, we pride ourselves on our creativity and unique approach to crafting unforgettable dishes. One such dish that has captured the hearts (and taste buds) of our customers is the Bejing Duck. What started as a happy accident has become our most popular duck dish, and it's time to share its fascinating story with you!

Our Bejing Duck is the brainchild of our fearless founder, Chef Suphanee. The dish got its peculiar name when one of our cooks scribbled "Bejing sauce" next to the Tamarind Duck on a list. Chef Suphanee, always eager to break the rules and make her own, decided to mash up the names and create the Bejing Duck.

While the name might be unconventional, the dish's incredible taste is anything but. Our Bejing Duck is a delightful fusion of flavors, with succulent duck, tangy tamarind sauce, and just the right amount of spices. And it seems our customers agree - it's the most ordered duck dish on the menu!

Beijing Duck, also known as Peking Duck, is a famous dish hailing from Beijing, China. This iconic dish boasts a rich history, dating back to the imperial era. It's famous for its crispy skin and tender meat, traditionally served with thin pancakes, scallions, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce.

Duck is a versatile and delicious protein, appreciated worldwide for its rich, distinct flavor. It's particularly popular in French cuisine, where dishes like Duck Confit and Duck à l'Orange have become culinary classics. Duck is also a staple in many Asian cuisines, with dishes like Chinese Roast Duck and Thai Red Curry Duck showcasing its incredible flavor and texture.

Duck is a popular protein in various countries, with China, France, and Thailand leading the way. In China, duck is often roasted, fried, or steamed, while in France, it's typically slow-cooked or pan-seared. Thailand boasts a wide array of duck dishes, often featuring bold, aromatic spices and flavors.

Royal YUM's Bejing Duck may have a quirky origin story, but its delicious flavor is no joke. By putting a unique spin on a traditional dish, Chef Suphanee has created a mouthwatering masterpiece that has our customers coming back for more. So why not stop by and try our famous Bejing Duck for yourself? You might just discover a new favorite!
